Hong Kong and under the regulation and control of a principal office there by means of Banks, branch Banks and Agencies in places allowed by the said Orainance the business of Banking and all other businesses usually transacted by Banks conformably to the provisions of the said Ordinance and subject to the proviso aforesaid And Whereas the said ordinance was amende by Ordinance No 21 of 1882

And whereas upon the expiry of the said torm the suid Company was, by of twenty years ordinance #° 15 of 1887 authorized and empowered to continue uncorporated and to carry
on the business of banking under the provisions and conditions of The Hong Kong and ghanghai Bank Ordinance so amended

And Whereas the Court of Directors have at different times since the incorporation of the Said Company with the full assent and approval of the Shareholders established Bank Branch Banks and Agencies in ports town cities and places not specifically mentioned in section of the said Ordinance to wit in Saigo :=
